Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have “bad chem.” After reportedly dating for a year, the “Espresso” singer and The Batman actor have officially ended their relationship.
The couple was first spotted together in December 2023, in Los Angeles. Then, five months later, they returned to the spotlight at the Met Gala posing together on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Over the summer, Carpenter released her Short n’ Sweet album, with one of her most recognizable songs “Please Please Please.” Carpenter recruited Keoghan to be the star in the music video.
“I was like, ‘Who’s the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?’ And he was next to me in a chair. And he was so excited about it.”
Keoghan appeared on the Jess Cagle Show podcast on November 8. When asked about Sabrina he claims “I’m in awe watching her work and how committed and the standards that she sets. Especially being on that music video. She knows the vision, she knows what she wants.
Since the news broke out, rumours have circulated that Keoghan cheated on Carpenter with social media influencer Breckie Hill. This news ultimately led Keoghan to delete his Instagram account and issued a statement asking not to be harassed.
Hill made a video on TikTok denying these rumours. “To put it simply for you all, no I did not get with Barry,” she said. “I have never even encountered this man in my life.” Additionally, “Coming from someone who has been cheated on in several relationships, I would never want to home wreck any relationship or put any girl through that pain,” Hill added “Ever. Ever.”
