Outer Banks season four officially was released at the beginning of October after being pushed back. Since the release, 8.8 million viewers have binge-watched the first 5 episodes, according to Netflix.
OBX star, Austin North, was arrested back in Feb 2024, which led to the delay of filming the new season, with the official release date of Aug 29.
For those new to the show, in season three, the Pogues discover the lost city of El Dorado, find treasure, and the death of two characters, John B’s dad (Big John) and Ward Camereon.
Season four, part one consists of the first five episodes and part two will release the last five episodes on Nov 7, for a total of 10 episodes. Season four has had a lot of surprises and fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for part 2.
Sophomore Joe Mikhael has been a fan since the very beginning. Mikhael was ecstatic for this new season stating, “[I] loved the new Kiara and JJ relationship and everything about them.”
As for part two, a lot of speculations have been made but no one is quite sure what will occur. Perhaps, “We’ll find out a whole lot about JJ’s family and Sarah’s too probably,” says Mikhael.
